Don't let the bad reviews sway you too much I am extremely satisfied with this product. Installation does take some time if doing this yourself so make sure to make all preparations and follow the instruction manual. Critical things not to mess up would be to get the good downward angle on the 3 inch hole for proper draining and running a good vacuum on each of the lines separately for a minimum of 30 minutes. I also must make a note about this companies tech support. They are WONDERFUL. You call and get a human being immediately and the tech support was always extremely helpful and professional. The compressor for this is sitting on an upstairs porch right outside my bedroom and I cannot hear it at all, it purrs like a kitten. Including 3 Indoor units with 16 Foot Installation Kits. 208~230 VAC Pioneer brand ductless MULTI ZONE INVERTER Multi split air conditioning systems are well known all over the world for their quality and performance. Although, a little known in North America, ductless multi splits have been the system of choice in most countries and regions all over the world, due to their simplicity, versatility and cost effectiveness. Installation of a Pioneer multi split system is a breeze. With a Pioneer ductless multi split air conditioning system, it is possible to heat or cool each room in a house, totally independent of the other, quietly, effectively and efficiently. Pioneer brand WYB series ductless INVERTER split heat pump systems are available for 3 different applications; DUAL (2 Zones), TRIPLE (3 Zones) and QUAD (4 Zones). Matching indoor units are available for 9000, 12000 and 18000 BTU capacities and must be specified at the time opf ordering. Dual units can handle Max. 24000 BTU, Triple units can handle max 36000 BTU and Quad units can handle max 48000 BTU combined indoor capacities, in any combination. Included wireless remote controller allowing the users easily select among the 4 operating modes; Cooling, Heating, Dehumidification and Ventilation. Additionally an automatic switchover mode is available for totally automatic operation through its on board computer. A timer function allows the user to set the system to start or stop running at a certain time. Night mode function automatically adops the temperature settings to the human body's naturally changing temperature levels during the night. Auto restart function memorizes all settings in case of a temporary power failure and restarts the system to continue running the same way after the power is reconnected. Last but not the least, an automatic swing discharge air louver gently changes the direction of the air flow in a sweeping action for total comfort.
